FOOTNOTE: 3119 was the companion engine to 5321. They were intended to be run as a pair and always were at the Browning. Even though they were both SD-35 bodies, 3119 had light weight 4 wheel trucks on it, rather than the heavier 6 wheel trucks used on 5321. That was because 3119 had never been intended to have power of it’s own. Instead, it was pushed by 5321 and David kept a small Honda generator inside the shell that could be used to power drills, saws, etc. while doing track work. At some point, club decided they needed another passenger engine and elected to motorize 3119. Stu Marion did at least some of the work on the modification. The weight of the batteries and maybe motor torque proved to be too much for the light trucks after a few years use, and one of the frame castings broke.
